Volunteering.

The running of our camp is primarily reliant on the dedicated team of volunteers who give up their time to ensure smooth success. From the set-up, to preparing meals throughout the day, their work done backstage is truly commendable, and plays a significant role in making this camp a transformative experience for everyone involved. SKYC YOUTH LEADER REQUIREMENTS

We are looking for passionate, enthusiastic individuals who are eager to guide and inspire our youth in their faith journey. As a leader, you will have the opportunity to foster a supportive community and make a lasting impact on the lives of countless young people, and must...

Be at least 18 years of age
Have an existing and growing relationship with Christ
Be a current, active & regular member of a Christian congregation
Have a solid understanding of the teachings of the Catholic Church & a willingness to see it taught
Hold a valid Blue Card, or be able to obtain one
Demonstrate Christ's teachings to campers in the way you speak and act

SKYC CHAPERONE REQUIREMENTS

As a chaperone, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of our teens while they enjoy the Winter Camp or Spring Retreat, especially over off-site periods, such as the Winter Ball. You must...

Be at least 18 years old
Have a younger sibling or child in attendance at the camp
Have an existing and growing relationship with Christ
Be a current, active & regular member of a Christian congregation
Have a solid understanding of the teachings of the Catholic Church & a willingness to see it taught
Hold a valid Blue Card, or be able to obtain one
Demonstrate Christ's teachings to campers in the way you speak and act
